I have known Dr Grandhi since I joined the School, and he was always someone I looked up to. I started interacting with him closely once he took over as Dean of the GMBA and the MGB programs. His guidance and support in helping the Admissions team select the right fit of students has been immense. He is always prompt and ready to support us whenever required, be it faculty briefing, conducting interviews, or advising us if a particular candidate should be admitted. He personally handpicks every GMBA student who is admitted to the program, and that has helped in improving the quality of students admitted. I have seen how he gives so much personal attention to each of them once they are on campus, especially when it comes to helping them select their elective subjects. His dedication and commitment to the School over the last almost two decades is remarkable, and his enthusiasm has not faded over so many years and still remains the same. We all respect him for the principles he follows, and he richly deserves the President's Award for Service Excellence.

I joined SP Jain in early 2006 as the Program Coordinator at the Singapore campus. Shortly thereafter, Dr. Grandhi joined the School as the Dean of the Executive MBA program, based at the Dubai campus. From the time he assumed this role, I had the opportunity to work closely with him in the management and delivery of the EMBA program across campuses.

Although we were located in different countries, Dr. Grandhi demonstrated exceptional leadership in building cohesion, maintaining academic quality and ensuring smooth program operations across Singapore and Dubai. He brought structure, clarity and a strong strategic direction to the EMBA program at a pivotal time when SP Jain was expanding its global presence.

His commitment to service excellence was reflected in multiple ways:

I am writing in my capacity as an adjunct faculty member at the Singapore campus of SP Jain School of Global Management, where I have been teaching Financial Accounting, Managerial Accounting and related modules across the BBA, MGB, GMBA and EMBA programmes for over fifteen years.

Although my role as adjunct faculty does not involve day-to-day interaction with Dr. Grandhi, I have been a beneficiary of his relaxed and yet purposeful leadership style over many years in both the EMBA programme—where he served as Dean for a decade—and, more recently, in the GMBA and MGB programmes.
